Top 5 Color Combos That Always Look Good

I LOVE having choices, which is why I always bring lots of extra colors for my painters. However, it can be tricky to know which colors work well together. The good news is some color combos just work, and any skill level can use them to make their paintings look awesome!

Whether you're painting a landscape, painting on glass, or creating your own masterpiece, these 5 foolproof color combos work together beautifully.

1. Turquoise + Coral

   This combo brings a fresh, uplifting vibe. (My personal favorite!)

   

2. Navy Blue + Gold

   If you've painted with me, you know I love gold in almost any painting, but this combo adds something dramatic with the coolness of navy and rich warmth of gold.

   

3. Peach + Pink + Purple (Sunset Shades)

   This creates a dreamy, sunset glow. Use pastels for a softer feel or brights for more energy.

   

4. Green + Yellow

Looking for a forest feel? Or painting leaves? Green with a bit of yellow is cheerful and easy to play with.

5. Black + Any Bold Color (Magenta, Turquoise, Orange)

   Using black as a base, painting on a black canvas, or outlining in black can make almost any color POP! This combo gives a modern, graphic look. Also great for glass painting!

   

These are not rules! Just some of my favorite combos to look at and paint with. At my paint parties, (and any time you paint), I want you to paint what you love. That is all that matters.
